This month's RIC™ is slightly up from last month.  The market is LAGGING, but FUNCTIONAL, and beginning to look a little stronger. The real estate market likely bottomed in the winter of 2009, signaling that the worst may be over, but it has some way to go before it can be clearly categorized as "Healthy."  The leading indicators that comprise the RIC™ show that there may be a return of some relative strength this spring and summer.
